Internet Safety Training

It's not if — it's WHEN our children will encounter inappropriate material online, and we want to help equip our communities to know where they should be monitoring and how to have those conversations. Statistically, kids are safer in their front yards or park than they are in their own bedrooms and living rooms behind a device. We've taken the stance of trying to keep our kids home so they are safe from predators, but by handing them a device connected to the internet, they are now exposed to an entire world of predators who we would never let through our front door. Our goal isn't to create fear — it's to create awareness, provide practical tools, and empower guardians to protect their children in the digital world. We Need to Give Away Free Food Every Week
To whom it would benefit in any way, the church is the recipient of the kind donations of excess food from three local restaurants: Longhorn Steakhouse, Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen and McDonalds on Wm Cannon & 35.
Please take any food that you and your friends and family would eat throughout the week because our freezer is filled on a weekly basis. We hope that this can be a blessing to you and your family!

Join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month at 1:00 pm as we gather after church in Southpark Meadows while we focus on building relationships, knowing names and faces, providing supplies, and sharing the love of Christ with these neighbors. We need volunteers to 1) bring food and/or 2) come visit and serve the meal at South Austin Family Dental next to Sonic on Slaughter.

The youth group will be continuing in person for the remainder of the school year! 6th - 12th graders are invited to stay after church every Sunday from 12:00–1:30 PM for lunch, games, and a lesson!
On the First Sundays of the month, Youth and Preteens are welcome to join in a youth-led time of worship and teaching in lieu of the the usual Youth Group time. We hope your student will join their peers each month.
