SOUTHWEST SUMMER INTERNSHIP

To equip the next generation of godly leaders by giving them practical experience, ministry specific training, and challenging them personally in their relationship with Christ.

- help  identify individual gifting.
- help develop a personal philosophy of ministry regarding the ministry the student  feels called.
- provide  ministry specific opportunities for growth (i.e. fear of addressing larger crowds, fear of child discipline resolution, etc.)
- provide  ministry specific training (event planning, budget planning, etc.)

Children’s Ministry
•Write weekly curriculum for the kids Sunday school class
•Lead weekly Sunday School Class
•Lead in Sunday morning Children’s ministry twice per month
•Lead Sunday morning large group once per month
•Attend and lead at Summer Bible Bash
•Attend Tanglewood Christian Camp

Youth Ministry
•Regularly spend time with students outside of Sunday morning
•Lead in Sunday morning Youth ministry twice per month
•Lead youth large group at least once
•Attend Generate Summer Camp
•Attend all summer youth group events
•Help write and lead youth summer Bible study (July

Events
•Attend and help lead our annual events -  Family Fishing Day, Summer Bible Bash, Back to School Celebration

Young Adults
•Write and lead at least one Thursday night small group lesson.

Mentor/discipleship
•Weekly discipleship meetings with Youth director.
